This is a rare and difficult to find isopod species, which is unfortunate given that they're a great starter Cubary species and very hardy.
Purple Ghost isopods do well with a diet that's high in protein and being kept in humid conditions. They can be a bit slow to breed and grow, but are very hardy and resilient pods. Definitely a nice addition to any serious isopod collection.
ISOPOD - PURPLE GHOST
Every lot sold of this species will be comprised entirely of juveniles of various ages.
They are shipped with a little of our top tier Flake Soil and some moss for the journey.
The '+' after the lot size indicates our standard of always including a few extra animals, with the number preceding it being the minimum number you'll be receiving. The count does NOT include manca (newly birthed isopods, still white in colour), although it may be mostly or all juvenile animals which comprise the count, depending on the species.
