MULBERRY LEAVES
Mulberry is one of the only hosts that silkworms accept and is necessary for them to compete their lifecycle.
FRESH
These leaves are harvested less than 24 hrs before being shipped and can be used to feed your silkworms. Given the high nutritional content of mulberry, these leaves can also be fed to other herbivore species such as surinam roaches.
If ordering from outside the province of Ontario, purchasing a cold pack is recommended to ensure leaves stay fresh.
DRIED
Did you know dried mulberry leaves are rated as having one of the highest levels of carotenoids of any measured plant? What that means if you want to bring extra colour to whatever species you're keeping, be they shrimp or isopods, these leaves are going to be great for bringing out that vibrancy. The leaves offered are harvested from plants not sprayed with any herbicide or pesticide, sun dried, and ready to be stored or used as needed
