CONFUSED FLOUR BEETLES
(Tribolium confusum)
Confused flour beetles are a low-maintenance feeder insect that can be maintained in cultures of flour with a pinch of yeast mixed in. They are relatively slow-growing with adults recorded lasting years and reach 5mm in length. Both the beetles and their larvae are very high in fat and are used by dart frog breeders to get their animals into breeding condition.

Welcome to the OIF shop page for everyone's favourite land crustaceans - ISOPODS!
Formally they had just been lumped in with all our other bioactive fauna. Not surprising since these critters make an excellent component of a bioactive tank.
However, with 2024 being YEAR OF THE ISOPOD, the number of species we maintain and offer has grown immensely, so a separate section in the shop only made sense given this expansion.
