LUNA MOTH
(Actias luna) 
These gorgeous moths are also called 'American moon moths' and can be found only in North America. Their soft green coloration, long trails on their hind wings, and discal eyespots on both sets of wings, combined with their size, make this insect commonly proclaimed as the most beautiful in North America. 
Cocoons that are currently in diapause are being offered for sale. They should be kept in diapause until spring arrives, either outside or in the fridge. This line prefers Juglans sp. for a host but reluctantly will accept Betula.
